Mack, nothing tougher, the Pete, I think is a 281 or 351. I never did understand Pete's model numbers, but this was the "needle nose", butterfly hood, and made them into the '70's. Judging by the doors, I think it's a 60's model. Pretty dang cool, make an old gear jammer smile,,as the world goes to heck.

Pete and KW are mid 50's. That a/c unit on the KW was a rare item, certainly added much later. It looks like the Freightshaker had "center point" manual steering.

Single stack rules out Detroit. I bet a Cummins.

Not necessarily, I have driven several (factory) 318/350 Detroits with a single stack. But I'm guessing 350 cummins and a 13 speed...……...

Semi, the first 318 I drove was a 65 Freightliner, 1969? 3 axle single drive with a belt driven front "driver". 10 sp roadranger RT-910. 4" single exhaust and so worn out it needed a good shot of ether on a 60* day then it would cover the yard with white smoke. After it got overhauled and "turned up" a bit it ran like a good 280.
