I wasn't claiming that there has never been inflation. More like: inflation hasn't been an issue from 2008 until the present despite repeated claims that we will lose our buying power. Obviously, inflation is a thing and exists...

I just don't think we are going to see hyperinflation in the near term. I have been hearing warnings of hyperinflation for over a decade and it simply has not happened.

I still contend that deflation is a more real danger near term (see: gas prices).

How can we have hyperinflation and gas is $1.14 a gallon?

I don't know about you, but I have never decided to make a meal out of a gallon of 87 octane unleaded.

Besides that, Venezuela got their fuel for virtually free, yet look at what happened there.

What I just thought of other than the other big scenario of Wallstreet getting everyone back in the market before the real bad news hits and they Short it and make another fortune and trillions in savings are lost is this.

With oil being so Frikin cheap how can they even begin to justify planting and harvesting all that corn for Ethanol.

I know its government subsidized, but at this point they would be better off just once again paying the farmers not to plant.

Come to think of it looking at all the transportation jobs that will be lost along with it, maybe they should start paying a percentage of Truckers not to truck every year so that freight rates could maintain.

I drive an anthem, definitely set up for comfort, still not sold on the quality though.

I really hate to say this, but flatbed is gonna take a beating. My co has about 120 trucks, 10-15 of them are co trucks (I'm in one). When at our main yard in Dallas today, I was the only truck not loaded and told to DH home almost 300mi to San Antonio and then load Monday in Waco for OKC, another 160mi DH.

If I have another month of running like this, I'll be dipping into saving to cover bills.

Well dang. That sucks. Sorry that’s happening to you.

As for me, got-dam it’s hard to become a flat bedder! Maybe I should apply to become a NASA astronaut. :D

No real good pics of the inside, but I dug up a few. (Don’t mind the feet, that’s my evening relax mode). Nice closet space, tons of storage, built in fridge and cab power which is nice.
