I bought the truck from a guy in North Carolina on Craigslist. I drove it back to Chicago area. It was a clean truck, the ones for sale by chicago are crap.

Can't, well actually you can throw the tune into the ECM, but you're not going to actually get the rating without upgrading hard parts in the motor. If you had a 460/525 you could up it all you want. Hell I've got a 625 tune, but I'm not even running it.
Turned down to a 430. It's plenty suitable for me. I don't run any major pulls down south.
As stated previously, once you go over 500 you need to watch for fretting.
And without having any proof of a rebuild you'd be playing catch with a hot potato.

Nope I'm just driving it. I sent the ECM to heavy duty powertrain and Terry re rated it to 525hp1850tq and I definitely felt the extra power. MPG is 7 on ECM (6.7 on let's truck app look me up Lateralus180) for a 4 month average. It pulls heavy loads like it's nothing. I don't think it's piston rings. Must be valve stems/guides because it blows through the oil when I idle. I usually don't idle because I run northern states and Canada and it's 60 degrees at night but when I was in Dallas last week I idled for 30 hours and I burned 1 gallon. But then I took a load through the mountains to Vancouver BC and all the way home to Chicago and hardly burned any oil, 1 gallon for 4,000 miles maybe? But it's collecting in the muffler when I idle you should have seen how much was dripping out after idling 30 hours. One of these days I'll change the cylinder heads and update you what happens

Also I did buy a new turbo 3 months ago. There was no change in oil consumption. Same turbo number was good for the full 525 hp if anyone is wondering. CPL#2592 is a good motor to be uprated to 525hp. Call Terry at heavy duty powertrain he really knows his stuff. $200 uprate with no low nox files

Sounds like the oil was coming from valve guides to me

Replacing my n14 turbo at a truck stop parking lot today MVIMG_20190610_104929.jpg
Should I worry about the oil that got everywhere? It's in the exhaust pipe and it's also leaking from here

You will want to clean the air to air out, with steam preferably.
Also check your air cleaners and all piping, for metal.

Be carful that the air to air cooler is not full of oil.
If it has oil in it when you start it the engine it will suck the oil in and run on it with the RPM going to the moon and no way to shut it down except cutting the air intake off.
The last one I saw do this ended in a severe oily mess with a window in the block where a connecting rod came out.
