I like having a clean truck so I can just relax and not worry about touching anything and getting dirty but the church that they gave me is a fokin mess. The only part now that I look to clean is the floor and there is gunk stuck on it and every time I sweet they're just more dust the next day was the best thing I can do to clean my floor?

I was totally anal about the cleanliness of my truck being I Lived in it and operated off farms.

Those rubber mat with the tiny dimples are a pain to keep clean. .

I prefer 409. Best cleaner out there without eating some auto interiors

For the rubber mat once a week I would hit it with that orange cleaner you can buy from Dollar Tree fir a buck but don't use it on the dash or door panels because it will discolor them, it actually eats up the black rubber mat a little bit .

But I had a bottle of vinegar in a spray bottle that I hit my hands every time I came into the truck to keep the germs down.

Every time I fueled I would soak the floor down with the spray vinegar and grab handfuls of paper towels from the island and wipe the floors and pedals down .

The reason I used the vinegar daily was to keep the chemicals down to a minimum.

I'm not gonna lie, from time to time I get lazy, take it to the truck wash, take out the mats and anything else I'm worried about getting wet, then just blast it out with a pressure washer. Then I take a throw away towel and dry it.

When I'm not being lazy I either mop it out with pine-sol, or clean it with with a floor rag and Mother's VLR.

Cover it. Some genius at Peterbilt decided a 579 should have carpet in the sleeper. I cut a blanket to shape and covered the carpet. Over that go a couple of cotton shower mats spread out for coverage. Wash the mats when they get bad. Shake them out and hit them with the air chuck when I'm on the road between washing. Floor carpet never gets dirty. Still looks new after 300k.

rag and some cleaner . water and dish soap works too. get a air hose that hooks to air line for seat. its a easy t connector and 2 quick connects on the ends.. i put some plumbers tape on the fittings because they leak real bad if none on. it is a easy way to spray off shoes or clothes if u get dusty and spray out floorboard

IF you got that plastic or vynal grooved floor, grab a tooth brush and pinesol in a spray plus three rolls of that light blue shop towls and follow each groove down.

It will be a while be patient.

Find and either fitted or cut carpeting, throw all that down.

Be peaceful. When carpets dirty, spray em off, throw them back into cab when dry.

    be happy.

I carry simple green and some shop rags . Every other day a couple sprays and wipes. A small dust pan and 12v vaccum handles the rest , I keep a rug in the bunk area and shake it out every couple of days and dont wear my shoes in the bunk area .

    Here's another tip.....
Sometimes you'll find yourself in a clean (concrete) parking lot with a good stiff wind blowing, (no dust).
Open both doors and use a broom to sweep out the back and crevices.
I got my broom from the dollar store, threw away the handle and the head fits nicely in my side pocket.

Now that they say coronavirus can actually be tracked in on the bottom of your shoes, I throw some bleach down on the floor each time I get back in my truck where my feet go. But when I want to wipe down the floor, I boil about a gallon of water and get a couple rags, put some Pine-Sol in there and just wipe everything down. Works great.
