The Volvo trucks have like a 52" sleeper.
The Internationals they got after I left, so really don't know for sure. But most ProStars come with a 72" sleeper. Though can be ordered with smaller.
Yes your truck will have a sleeper, where else would you sleep?
You would go broke fast paying for hotel rooms every night, and run out of yours fast since you cannot log as sleeper if you do not have one.

Well I have to disagree on the H.O.S. issue here. Day cab or sleeper cab, you get 70 hours drivng within an 8 day stretch.
Whether you are in the sleeper, or a motel/hotel, it matters not.
(if you are subject to HOS rules)

I really need a smiley that shows me crying in my beer. lol Finally got my truck back and got a load coming out of Dallas going to Armadillo. Think I'm going to hunt that planner up and break his fingers for him. Dallas at 1700 IS NOT a great time for driving.
Extended my time out hoping I would make some money this time. Guess we'll see.
JJ, glad you got the Mistress out and are making money again.
Jess, you sure your going to make into the truck after this next student? Thought you were going to be there 2 students ago. :biggrin_25519:
Lee was it? Happy birthday with high hopes of many more to come.

Well, I'm beginning to wonder... What exactly do they use for weights during the work wellness test? Are they some sort of 50 & 75lb barbells, or are they bags filled with something, orrrr maybe something else? Do they have you go through it with other students at the same time, or is it a wait in line kind of thing? I heard something about a climbing simulator as well & just wanted to make sure that what I had heard was true.

That is a good question. A 50lb brick is somewhat different than a 50lb bag of feed.
