There's dozens and dozens of people that have applied with me, that all know how trucking works, how Landstar works.

    And I don't know.

So why are we having this discussion???

There's no middle ground in the O/O game, especially when you begin.

You will do very well, or you won't last six months.

Absolutely. But someone that owns an older truck knows how to work on them and isn't afraid to. I like older trucks because of their simplicity. I like working on them when it's routine or when it's time to rebuild something. Running an older truck down the road that is constantly needing work is ridiculous. It costs too much money and time.

Hire the attitude, train the aptitude.

That's a nice truck, but I'm not into the super sleepers.

Everyone likes them for routine maintenance, Wrench could a full PM in under an hour. That's all the cases, chassis, adjust the brakes.

An axle of brakes in 48 minutes, ready to drive away.

While you're still taking the lug nut covers off.
