Speaking of loads, I called my dispatcher that does the SA area on Friday to let him know I was empty before 3pm and ready for Monday AM. He was surprised I got unloaded and goes "well I don't have anything at the moment, but I'll put you on the board so I know you're ready to go".

I told him that the precast I ran out of SA last week was great, easy to load, light and the guy at the Co there said they have plenty of orders to ship *hint hint* and he goes "oh that's good, we'll see what we can come up with Monday for ya".

So guess who gets to sleep in on Monday! Lol

 

Didn't you say you have 37hrs to run 360ish miles? Or was that someone else?

That’s me alright, way ahead of schedule. Deliver Mon @ 1:00 am, then 9:00 am, p/u at 2:00 pm, 900 mile trip to deliver on wed. Maybe I’ll get my Drivers window regulator, new door handle, and door panel put back on, Lol. That’s the way we roll. Constant repairs.

 

Back to the pizza debate.......
@Dave_in_AZ alluded to, there's really such thing as bad pizza, just no pizza.

Been eating McDonald's and Subway for a week. God bless them, they do their best but enough is enough.

Rolled into what I consider to be the worst of the chains, and was happy to get my pie.

In my opinion, best chain, 30 years ago was Godfathers. Now, since Herman Cain got their minds right, it pretty much sucks like the rest of them.
But boys, back in the day, it was awesome.
