I think Dave would even hire one who has driven Volvos... As long as it wasnt white, and still had all the original fairings, fenders, mirrors, and cowlings after 1 year of you driving it... Lol

 

So I crested Sherman (big grade east of Larmie WY on I-80) heading east right at dawn this morning. Was pea soup fog coming up the gorge, but I got above it just be for the summit. It was a BEAUTIFUL sight looking east... The entire valley was blanketed in fluffy white clouds of fog, and the sun hadn't quite broke the horizon. Within 2 miles I had dropped back into the pea soup and could barely see 100 feet for maybe 8 miles until I got below the fog again. But that 2 miles at the summit was very peaceful and Definetally a sight to behold.

Well I'm off to bed, y'all keep it rubber side down today.

I was in a tiny place in florida for a meal. The view was fine for a while anyway. Hell of a place to get truck parking and a meal. Sheesh.

One in particular lumbered onto the platform which was old plywood.

Creak. by booted creak.

Normally I don't worry about stuff like that but that meal was not a good one. Just one of those times I just write off as a total waste.

Regarding volvos there is a 89 model E integrated sleeper with big cat and a short rockwell on it. Full bag airride and steel cab.

It happened to be a snow truck of the best kind in that winter across WVa. Unfortunately it was also a dying brand what with the plastics and getting stuck in 3 inches of snow coming soon.

Laramie can have their sherman hill.

I would not mind seeing Green River again.
