I thinking you are looking at ads left over from 2018. Why leave the oil field? Aren’t oil prices supposed to go back up soon with the deal struck by OPEC+?

Right now own authority people are extremely happy when they break 5000. Some while paying 30k per year in insurance. Grass isn’t too green right now.

I was just thinking about this.

People are out of their normal jobs, but they see on the news how important truckers are and how many trucks are on the road. The light bulb pops into their head. Trucking! YESSSS. It’s recession proof and we can also help the economy. Let’s go truck’n’!

Just an observation. Late 70s early 80s when Manufacturing was down, many flocked to Texas oil and Florida Building Trades. After that oil fell, manufacturing picked up, Many returned to the Factories. Due to oil prices and Katrina, the some of the Gulfcoast avoided the pitfalls of the Great Recession. Trucking has always filled a gap, usually short term, via tuition paid work programs, Most return ( run) back to their old jobs. Watching all of this, I usually see a trickle down effect. Manufacturing in Michigan affects jobs in In. Ky. Tn. Al. Fl. the effect eventually working it’s way through. This time. Oil and manufacturing are down at the same time. Like a double whammy effect, from two of the biggest drivers of the economy. It’s a different scenario. Not a good one.

If you were in OS loads for that many years, why are you looking at OTR?

Seek out those companies that are in that niche and contact them.
