    Screenshot_20200419-102147_Yahoo Mail.jpg truck and trailer were both stolen from manheim orlando truck was recovered in miami. Trailer still hasn't been found 5K reward for anyone who finds the trailer

    ...this is pandemic in Florida
    I know my exdriver bought 3 years old pete and it was stolen the very first trip in florida , other guy had 30k miles new pete was stolen ( he drove new volvo before - no one cared )... All stingers

    Of course it was. You think the insurance is going to cover the full value of a new trailer? It's a lot easier and less of a hassle to offer a reward hopefully get the trailer back than make a insurance claim and still have to dish out more money then wait for a new trailer to be built all while your still paying for the truck

    I went through a northbound weigh/ag station in Florida and the guy in the booth asked me to tell Tommy our company cop that they were still looking for our stolen rig.

    So if you notify the weigh stations they will look out for it. It gives them something exciting to do.

    I would guess that a company as big as Masney may be self insured up to a certain threshold.

    And if they were what would be the difference? A loss is a loss. Anything besides getting the trailer back is a loss in their eyes.
