dr5169, wow, what a story bro, I am thinking about a career in trucking, heard thar Roehl was a good place to work for, I noticed though that it is a lot of
east coast stuff of which I have heard alot of truckers dont like, why is that? is it because of traffic or what? could you recommend a good company with good home time and good average length of haul?

It is all depends what are you got. If you are a new driver then start with Roehl, do not think twice. Roehl goes everywhere, but not that much East Coast, if that is what you are trying to avoid.
IF you are seasoned driver, then go to the truck stop, take one of the magazines off the rack and DO NOT apply with any company who is listed there.
Remember the good rule is ,,, if the company is hiring all the time, that means drivers are leaving fast.

I have seen Roehl in Pilot Challenge Magazine, in those racks with the little business-card size ads, and even on the front cover of one of those job ad magazines. I like to think my company is better than that.
