That's roughly a thousand miles. How much in tolls?

Since the spot market is made up of mostly rejected tenders of contract carriers, it's obvious that not a lot of tenders are being rejected. In all likelihood, many existing contract rates are probably being renegotiated right now as well.

I can imagine it's gotta be tough for the a lot of freight broker agents right now as well. Especially the one's who have to meet a certain targeted revenue projection each month, or it's hasta la vista.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    According to TollGuru:
    tolls:$210
    fuel:$350
    ----------------
    Total immediate expenses: $560:

they offer $1486....the simple brain logic here is this: $926 in 2 days: still more than a free soup... ain't bad...some say LOL

Well...let me do the experiment. I'll lower my bid down to $2100 (2.19 per mile) and see what happens...

So, is that a run you do often? What would you get out of there?

My projection and target was to make at least 100G after all expenses before I pay myself, at the expense of my home time and miles driven. I managed to do that in the 1 st quarter, netting $25K despite Winter months and IRP expense. The 2nd Quarter was to be easier...projected at 30K net.....Well, April is wasted already.

Not too often.. But Good times $3000 or more, average $2300 - 2600 and that's little effort bidding at Convoy or JB Hunt....
