The double brokering is totally out of control!!!!!!

Load posted Chicago - Kalamazoo $1,000
Not even a minute before someone else re-posts it for $400........UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

$1000 is wishful thinking anyhow. 150 mile run... With over 5000 posted trucks in Chicago that load is currently moving for $200.

Loads out of P&G going 66 miles are moving for 200 with 6-8 hrs between load and del. They keep posting em for that so you know some sucker is taking it. Ran back empty from Worcester yesterday.

I'll be on my semi regular North Bergan to Williamson 8am. Old man ran down empty this morn and I'm taking it up, currently trying to find something coming back out of Rochester-syracuse area. We shall see

You ain’t making any money at 1.40 running your own authority. Just spinning your wheels.

Things definitely seem to keep getting worse and worse. It had gotten down to fuel and driver money, now it’s down to pretty much driver money.

If I didn’t have a high paying customer still then I would have to shut down 100% sure. Before we could have kept making it happen but I’ll admit now it’s too bad.

Before long it'll be so bad that even with a high paying customer it won’t make sense. When loads are paying 80 cents to 2 dollars and on average 1.50 that’s not sustainable for people that truly know their costs.

This is criminal. Don't you people tell me that this some sort of entrepreneurial spirit, either!
I'd have no mercy exposing these a...holes and social media.

That's why we've been taking it easy. For the time being were doing that out of principle. If everyone did that and let the cheap #### sit where it belongs we wouldn't be here.

You wouldn't do that to keep a very good customer happy every once and a while.? The 2 loads on avg a wk we get when doing our normal run was the cake on top of it.

Yea it's not a good rpm we and if things don't change like NY opening up for business were gonna change our mo. It's cheap but some are pulling both ways for that......

I've lost my yesterday's wishful bid on Convoy app from Janesville, WI to New Caney, TX. $2400...I lost it by $753. $1647....that way...but what do they pay out of there? $0.68 mile to go outbound of TX?

As I said before...this thread will, when dug out from the digital fossil, in years to come, have some historical value...I wish the version 1.0 was never mistreated by that mod. They, researchers, will have to find both...to make it coherent.

Actually it doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would going back up your way. Dat shows a couple loads around $1

I should have been letting the truck run some. I swung by and turned the key on. Batteries showed 9.5v. Gonna let it run about a hour and unhook the batteries. Have to drive the pickup so I can take them home and charge them.
