I’m still waiting for someone to explain to me how two separate business transactions are related.
Why stop at brokers? Let’s limit the markup that shops can charge on parts. Tires can only be sold for 15% over cost.
The guys that want a level playing field should go truck in Hawaii. They have rates set by the government and everything to keep it all fair. Only thing is you need a sponsor to go with you to the PUC meetings with you before you can buy a truck.

I'm aware he's saying cap the profit percentage not dollar amount. Whats to stop them from doing the same on the truckers end then?

Many years ago I started a brokerage firm, sold it for profit,
few years ago before I got into trucking Side, I helped finance and consulted on starting 2 more firms, then I sold my shares for profit.
so yes I have experience in what I’m talking about and have been around them for a while.
so stop with the bs.
I have my credentials to know what I’m talking about.
I have made money, I have lost money learned a lot, specially ways to step on the little guy, also learned to only speak of things you have a firm understanding of, and never underestimate the person in front of you.

Again, what problem would transparency or even caps solve that's not solved by contracts and how well a salesman the O/O is? And don't say the O/O doesn't need to be a salesman.
