I am planning to buy a truck (F350 or Dodge 350 turbo engine...etc) and trailer and start hotshot trucking probably in British Columbia but I definitely have no idea how to start. All the videos I found on Youtube are only about Americal hotshot truckers. Nothing shows me what should I do in Canada. I wanna know all about the needed driving license, taxes, pay per miles...etc. Thank you in advance

For starters, you'd need a class A license.
A class D Canadian license is equivalent to an American class B license so that means you can't tow a trailer over 10,000 lbs.

From: Get a truck driver's licence

The Class D licence lets you drive A truck with a gross weight or registered gross weight exceeding 11,000 kilograms (24,000 lb) or any truck or combination exceeding 11,000 kilograms (24,000 lb) gross weight or registered gross weight provided the towed vehicle is not over 4,600 kilograms(10,000 lb). If the towed vehicle weighs more, you will need either a full Class A or restricted Class A licence.

With a Class D licence you can also drive a car or light truck covered by a G Class licence

As for taxes you would have to speak to an accountant.
