When I was leased onto Mercer I hauled a couple loads they received through Trinity, I just wish I could remember where. Definitely flatbed loads.

And ya, if your company was pulling in 65% I'm pretty sure you wouldn't spill those beans on this thread anyhow.

Probably not! I also probably wouldn't be on here, either, lol, and I'd be paying people to do my honey do projects, instead of hanging my own trim.

Don't know anything about him. Listened to the first few minutes while I was getting gas. The 65% she was claiming struck me as a biiiit ludicrous, anyway.

Was able to string together another load with my load tomorrow, so it eliminated the DH miles. Turns into $1,200 for 500 miles.

It's good times and rockin' roll again! LOL

The best way to get the low-down on what many brokers are actually receiving is to exercise our "right to review" all details of the transaction. If you currently have a signed agreement with a brokerage where you have waived your right of review (which could be overturned by a good attorney in court if you were so inclined), I would suggest terminating or amending that agreement in writing immediately. If the brokerage is unwilling amend the agreement, it's a safe bet that you've been getting ripped off. Brokers are required to keep complete records for 3 years, and required to produce that information to all parties involved in a transaction. Any agent guilty of receiving TONU or detention and not passing that on to the carrier would be open to litigation, at least they would if I found out they had done it to me.

I have no doubt that brokers of PPDCT's caliber run an honest business and would have no problem supplying that information, and see the need for transparency. .
