I have to agree. Reading all I have back through the posts on here. Dave is one heck of a trooper. Started out in the trenches, took care of family, and has spread out into his own company of sorts. I admire him a great deal. Even if I am a bit soft for him in some areas. lol I still hope after my first year of snow/ice and chains he'll think I am up to snuff to join the OM's brigade.

 

She's pretty cool. But there's a perfect example.

Driver goes to load. Previous load was Christmas trees.
Gets too shipper.
"You're trailer is wet inside. We can't load you."

They blow in like a 1000 pounds of ice to keep the trees fresh.

So, ok. Perfect. Plan scuttled. Start all over.

 

I know that feeling all too well.

 

At what point do you plan to come off the road and “run the trucks”? The next upswing could be a good time. Might want to start preparing now though.

 

The OM would not approve. She feels Dave spends too much money when he is at home. Which does not make her happy.
