Broker A 10 loads 1 k a load x15% =1500 this week . All loads go good. Broker B 10 loads 1 k a load x15% =1500. 1 load goes bad resulting in a loss of 2 k until and if they can get from carrier .. next week who’s going to find a way to recoup ? When the averages are going good I suspect that most brokers stay at their wanted% .

Lol. Transparency, insurance cost, and a set rate per mile based on trailer type all rolled into one petition. And even the title....I’ve never had a broker manage my business so I’m not sure how they manage an entire trucking industry.

I bid a load this morning for customer that calls once or twice a month, 440 miles two drop . Ends up in Vado nm, nowhere land. I bid 1500.
I kid you not I get a call 20 minutes later from a broker in Tampa FL, English so bad I can hardly understand what he’s saying. His offer is 500.00 . I’m still laughing!!:biggrin_25523:

Wait, so you’re saying that you had the ability to say no and you chose with your own free will to not move the load for $500? But I thought these brokers were forcing guys to run at a loss?
