Since when did they start doing physicals and drug tests at the same time as orientation? When I started there, they shipped you in after your background check, did the final face to face interview, then if they liked what they heard, you went for physical and drug test. Then, if you passed all that, you were scheduled in for orientation. I actually used my previous employer's truck to do the interview, physical and drug test. Then went on a west coast load for the other company while the piss test was being processed.

    Indeed

That ... and give it a good 6 months to get a feel for
the way things work around here .

Learn where to go and where not to go , everyone has
their own special ways of making the place pan out for them .

Well, so far I'm pretty happy.
But there is one minor issue. I keep having problems with the inverter. Some says it works, some it doesnt. Its been into the shop, and the vendor saud it was fixed. But when I went to turn it on today, nothing. No light, no beeps, nothing.
And I have no idea why.
The moneys good, and the miles are good, I just wish I could watch TV while I'm sitting here waiting for my delivery tomirrow morn.

My inverter works, but the shop can’t fix the check engine light that constantly comes on. So auto start won’t work with that light on.

What kind of truck you in.
Did the inverter come with the truck or is it one
    Left from the previous driver.
We had to put our own inverters into the older
    Internationals.

Some of them you have to hold the on button
Down for a few seconds for it to come on.

Are the trucks still governed at 68 and do they have both forward and driver facing cameras?
