If they were all 4x4 pallets it’d be that simple, but as I’m sure you know not all freight is created equal.

Maybe is cheaper to pay a contractor. I know Averitt gives their freight to their contractors(landstar) than averitt drivers.

Most LTL have contractors pulling seems like. I’ve traded trailers with a Schneider team a few weeks ago.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
We had 3-4 landstar O/O’s pulling sets out of the hub I turn every night until this mess started then Saia said goodbye to them.
