Expect and plan to live in a wakeful nightmare for 5 weeks before your 3 days of peace at home.
And then to do it again, and again, and again and again...
    ...

Ya'all make it sound so awful, lol. There are ppl who enjoy teaming. If you get matched well, you could have a really good time. Of course, I say this from a perspective of, my teammate is my hubby, but I work for a large team focused company, and many non married teams work well together. You just have to be a team player, and willing to compromise and communicate.

You will find out that driving solo is just as productive.

    Can you?

HA. thats like asking someone if they can get into a salvage yard at midnight and then make it back to the fence before the junkyard dog gets to them. And never mind all the sections of cut up military razor wire all over the place.

Its going to take some doing before I let go of a moving vehicle while asleep. Thats why I do not ride greyhoud anymore. There was one female driver who maintained one engine speed, stayed off her brakes and in generaly made for a blissful peace for 6 hours.

What a night. When I came around near Knoxville I had two children bundled under the parka I had. It was bigger than me and useful in that way for them in that cold.

    SHEESH.

Best part of team driving is not spending time at TRUCK stops!

Yes! This! But, we still end up there between loads sometimes, or for resets. But a lot less time sweating it to find parking.

I run team with my son and actually like it. Always have help if I need it. Don’t have to worry about a place to park. Get a routine going with your co-driver. For example when we stop to switch drivers, that’s when we fuel, eat and shower. When teaming, showers are essential.

Doesn't most of these "custom critical" operations involve a lot of sitting between loads, then when you finally get a load, it is a non-stop tight run?
