Could a 53' truck deliver here?

    Hello all,

I apologize in advance if this post is inappropriate. I'm not a trucker, but am in search of warehouse space that will be serviced by 53' trucks. I have concerns about a warehouse I'm looking at, if trucks will be able to fit into the loading dock.

Here's a google earth photo, with a green box added to show where the truck would go:

There are two docks in that space, but I would only be able to use the left one where the green box is. Note how there are trucks parked in the space of the dock to the right of the green box.

If cars are parked in the spaces (typically more than this photo represents), which they normally would be, could a truck even back into this dock?

Thanks for your time, I appreciate any insight!

Remove those little bushes, have nobody park in the front and even a Swift rookie will be able to get in there.
Otherwise it's gonna be a pain in the butt

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.

Unfortunately that is trees on a slope (road in front of parking lot slopes uphill from left to right) and those cars will always be there.

I was afraid of this, but I greatly appreciate your help!

    Rideandrepair and alds Thank this.

If that's the only entrance to the parking lot, I think that would be a bigger issue than backing into the dock. Especially when the lot is full of cars.

Thanks to the OP for seeking the input from us professional drivers about the viability of this space. Too many times a company will lease some place and it is a pain in the Butt to deliver to. Then they complain because the bushes or curbs get damaged.

Have backed a 260" tractor and 53 trailer into spots. That make that look like the North 40. Used to have a drop in Hyannis Mass. Backed into a the building, one hole only. Train tracks in front of door. Blindside into that sucker, and RR had put up those nice Yellow steel poles out from the tracks. Lots of different colors on those baby's. It might take me 2 or 3 pull up's. But always got it in there. But then again I could back a mile before ever getting into a big truck.

A good driver could get into there but it would be a bit of a pain... The biggest issue would be the cars around the enterance to the lot... And the cars next to the building and closest to the dock.
