    Never too late to learn how to turn a wrench. A couple hundred bucks worth of basic hand tools on a truck and a few spare parts, spare airline fittings, electrical connectors etc can save you thousands down the road.

    I totally agree with you. I this year paid already 10k dollars for repairs . And few was so stupid things like hoses and leveling valves.

    When I read the title, I thought, a steer axle crack? I've been around trucks all my life, and some pretty rough applications, and I never sawr a steer axle crack. I'm proud of you that you noticed that. I'd hire you in a minute.:thumbup:
