A tranny rebuild, I believe you are looking in the 7k range, but not for sure. I can tell you what a guy told me that works on reefers. Hours on a reefer are sort of equivalent to mileage on a truck. He knows a guy that bought a reefer with 24k hours and the guy ran it for 3yrs without a problem. Another guy bought one with 2k and brought it back to the dealer 3 times in the 1st month he had it for issues. Repairs are inevitable. Al would tell you, if you're gonna have a truck payment buy newer, if you get a older truck buy it out right.

I got pulled over in South Carolina for going WAY too fast. Talked to the trooper...told him I wasn't from there (obviously) and didn't see the speed sign in the pooring rain. He goes back to his car....runs my sh**...come back ...he says "I'm not even going to bother to give you a written warning on this one...I just very much appreciate that you didn't try the "I only speak French" BS routine with me. Every Canadian I stop tries that #####...and I know go #### well y'all can speak english!" :biggrin_25523:

I was at a place outside of Chicago, backed to the dock to get unloaded. There were two other trucks with me. We waited and waited. I spent the day there and watched while they played catch with a football outside, grilled and all kinds of stuff. Plenty of breaks but not too mucho workio.

    No es bueno!!
