You know what? They're all idiots, but going to the shoulder to pass is just ridiculous.

But as the "middle" truck, why do you want that truck on the left next to you for MILES? Just back out of it a SECOND and be done with it. ####.

The end of the video asks, "Who was right here?" Certainly not Freymiller. That was dangerous as hell. The Swift in the left lane was wrong too. If you pass someone, you should be able to do it easily. Granted, sometimes you miscalculate. There are times when the hammer lane is packed with motorists and some truckers will activate the turn signal and try to force their way in the hammer lane. That's wrong too. Sometimes you have to just be patient and wait for the hammer lane to clear. Nine times out of ten, a truck is going to slow down traffic.

When I see a driver who has miscalculated their ability to pass me, I just slow down and let them go. We HAVE to get back to taking care of each other out there.

I do that too. I think that's a good veteran move, it won't kill anyone to go a couple miles slower than max speed to keep things flowing.
