So true brother. Too many inspectors interpret the regulations differently. What would have been awesome is a book of the regulations with CLEAR and PRECISE definitions and unified training so the regulations could be enforced correctly instead of being open to interpretation. We know that would have been way to difficult though. Haha

They can interpret the rules anyway they want to but it’s still legal. There is no regulation that says anything about how a securement device is hooked to the trailer.

I fully agree. They can interpret the regulations one way for one truck and maybe different for another all in a days work.

headed up to Hanover mass today.

tonite I’m sposed to haul around A keyboard player, and a singer on the back of my Dually for 2 hours at 2mph around a bunch of local neighborhoods ending at one of the hospitals. Not sure if I’ll be getting pictures of that or not. Maybe I should put it in one of those crying about the rates threads, they told me they give me 500 bucks to do it. I told them itd be wrong for me to take money for doing something like that. Lol but $250 a mile for a 3500 Chevy ain’t half bad

Edit: oh jeez, 2mph for 2 hours Is 4 miles- Itd only be $125 a mile! Geez I guess it’s just cheap freight! And here I am doing it for free. Ha ha Ha
