We are a local Utility Construction contractor in Western Colorado. We are registered "Intrastate Commerce" we have only worked in Colorado. We have a small job coming up at Lake Tahoe, California lasting approximately a month. We have approximately 30 Trucks in our fleet mostly pick-ups and a few smaller bucket trucks and a handful of CDL trucks. We will only be sending 2 or 3 trucks to do the job in California. Do we have to change from "Intrastate" to Interstate Commerce" for the entire fleet? and if so is there a way to get a temporary status change, and possibly just for the trucks that will be leaving the state? Thank you any insight y'all may have......

No offense, but how many times are you going to ask this same question?

Sorry, I inherited all the DOT compliance and Regs at our company. And am still a little green and trying to do what i can to understand everything. I apologize for the repetitive questions.

Ok, I was not trying to be rude, or discourage you to ask questions. Ask as many as you want. I was commenting on asking the same question in three different threads. If you have more questions please feel free to ask.
If it's the same question, or added information please simply reply to the original post. You will likely get more discussion as it will be less likely to be ignored.

We can be a fairly abrasive crowd, but we can also be a very informative crowd. Ask @deathB4decaf how we can be on both counts. :) She was in your shoesa bit ago, but for drive away work.

They will always shoot you straight here but definitely keep it all compressed. @Andyboy24 hope you found the answer you were looking for.
