Since some states have recently reopened or partially reopened GA and TX has gas demand picked up?. I was wondering about
this as that’s what I want to do rather than otr. Not planning on doing it now I talked with a couple guys who said with the steep drop in demand they are not hiring. Besides not hiring those that are working are only doing 3 to 4 days and working 8 hours a day rather than the normal 10-12. As much as I would rather do local gas tanker I’m not going to do it if I won’t make the kind of money I’m looking to make. I’m going to see how things go with ending restrictions before I sign on with anybody.

I have noticed a certain company with red and black trucks have been down on loads. They park 5 near me, usually those 5 are out for 2 shifts 7 days a week. It’s not uncommon for me to see 3 in the yard now.Cali kid Thanks this. -
Well 1/2 The people don’t have any money and if they do have money their probably scared...
Then factor in the second wave this fall/winter and I’m not sure gas demand is gonna get back to pre covid levels for a whileCali kid Thanks this. -

We seem to be getting off topic. The whole point of this thread is to see if there is an increase in gas demand in areas recently reopened or partially reopened.
superpet39 Thanks this.
