Another lesson to learn is before diving headlong into the 1099 world is considering consulting a tax attorney that specializes in such matters.
Even though I’m a W2 driver I still consider having extra money taken out for taxes because it does one of two things:
1. If I get a refund I’ll at least get some of the money back.
2.Heaven forbid,if I owe Uncle Sam money, I won’t be penalized as much as I’ve reduced my tax liability.

This is stuff people need to think about,1099 and W2 alike.

 

Yea verily some must wander for 40 years before entering the land of milk and honey that is BYOB&CBD. If all the "if only I had know about you sooner's" were stacked end to end they would reach from where i am to where they are.
