Yeah the new trucks have them. Hate the #### thing. Construction zones are the worst. Or places where they moved the lanes or repainted them off a little bit but the truck freaks out about it.

Is it that smart drive stuff where everytime the buzzer goes off it contacts the company and they keep up with it?? Or is it just for you to let you know what's around you. I am looking for another company and really dont want to go somewhere that's going to micromanage the crap out of me. I will already have to swallow having a microphone in the truck. Thanks for the info!

Its more like a buzz to alert you that youre leaving the lane, it doesnt tell the company anything, that i am aware of anyway. The roll stability deal will send a report but you can have like 3 of those in a 30 day period without anyone talking to you.

Lol yeah, they are pretty pointless. I just assume the whole purpose with the radar, collision stuff, roll stability, break assist, lane sensors was to test the tech for those #### automatic driverless trucks.

I think that these truck driver dependent companies in a race to bring in automated trucks may have outsmarted themselves.

If they truly go 100% driverless trucks then why wouldn't any and every company just cut the truck driver dependent companies out of the loop and just buy their own trucks? No brokers required either.

But then if they did that then who would the DOT screw with?
