CAT c15 Metal shavings in fuel filter

    Primary and secondary have metal shavings in them.

    Well sounds like you've got a sick Kitty.

    MBN right?

    Only thing I can think of off hand would be the fuel pump is going out. Unless you did pick up some bad fuel when you were dealing with that discoloration in 1 tank. I guess its possible an injector is coming apart but I would think you'd be seeing some carnage in the top end if that's the case.

    What's fuel pressure like?

    Gonna have them. Check that. But I noticed my dash is having issues so checking alternator too and relays. Other than that I’m going to think this one through. Found little rust chunks in fuel too.

    All injectors are out and tested good. Put new cups and orings in cause no 4 was pretty beat up.
