I'm new to this forum, not quite sure how it all works just yet. Selling my climacab electric apu, nothing wrong with the apu other than all the extra weight and all the space it takes. Not selling the box that houses the batteries as I will be using it for tools (the box that houses the batteries isn't the original anyway)

    There out of business.
Can't get anybody to fix them or get parts for them.
I'd hate for you to make a enemy from someone
    Who doesn't know this.
    Good luck.

Yep, they're still out here. Climacabs are pretty well made, mine still works like a champ

They might be out of business but I'm sure you can get someone to work on it if it needed to be worked on (which it doesn't) and parts for anything can be found over the internet.

Is this the one that is mounted inside the the cab
    On the back wall.
It sits hanging over the bunk.
Every time you roll over, you bang your knees
    On it.

That's the climate cabs we had.
Got rid of them 2 years ago.
    There kind is gone.
We had a tech who worked full time at the
    Yard working on them.
He's gone, said they weren't making them anymore
And couldn't get parts for them.

That's the one I had. Cooled better when I hung curtains from the top bunk over the bottom bunk so it didn't have to cool the entire sleeper area.

Geez how small are your bunks? Must be half of a twin to have those type of issues. But yes they are installed on the back of the sleeper. Again I have to disagree with you about parts or repair, anything can be found on the internet and in South Florida you can find someone to fix anything.

All you gotta do is draw you curtains for it to cool the sleeper area, no need for the rest lol
