Those villagers don't pay much if anything for a condo there. The government measures their village house and then pays fair market value per square ft. based on that plus the land. The house may not be anything but a shack with no running water, utilities, bathroom, but the government is very generous about that.
My wife's cousin had a pretty good size shack and when the government finished figuring the value, he was given 2 new condos plus a private underground garage for one car. He and his wife and mother moved into one and rented out the other. It's not uncommon for a large family that had a large old concrete block house in some fishing village, to get 3 or 4 free condo's.

Are the Sentinelese the ones that can get away with killing people from the outside that show up uninvited?

Yep, that's them. They like to welcome folks with bows an arrows.

Not a very welcoming bunch, so I imagine that's why India said eff it in trying to make contact.

If I remember right they don't eat people, but live on wild pigs, fruits, fish, etc.

Interesting to read about, but I'm never going to visit. ;)

I sent someone your way by the way @Chinatown. from another thread, he needed some info on TN and companies that way or in NC. Sorry to go off topic, figured I'd mention it while you were about. haha!
