So i tried to look for my question/answer..on here and youtube as well...and the videos I saw..trucks around the same year..but they're setup is different underneath..and no luck!! I even tried to hold down the first 2 knobs until there supposed to blink...to reset it...but nothing!! When I drive the ac works perfect..but when I stop of slow down..the ac turns off!! What can be causing this issue? I took apart the bottom dash..saw one harness on the side of the blower (I think)..checked wires but I cant find any wires damaged or loose or disconnected...this happened once before but when it did..I just took the bottom piece off and wiggled the wires and it turned on...but now.......NOTHING! Anybody have any ideas???

Just replace the compressor (which for warranty will require the condenser, drier and expansion valve to be replaced also.) A/C stuff is expensive at this time of year, so the more you can do the better. If you throw the manifold gauges on it it will probably be showing low pressure on the high side and high pressure on the low side becuase of an internal leak.

If you have a rad. fan switch turn it on when you get ready to stop, Ridgeline is right if that works, the Rad. fan will move air thru. a/c con.

Start with the basics. Clean out the rad package first.

Does the fan cycle on/off when parked? It should.

No. Just no. Don't throw parts at it without troubleshooting.

...and we still don’t even know what kind of truck it is. Could be his F150.
