Ok, McDaddy. Whatever. I aspire to be as good or even nearly as good. Nothing wrong with that.

Ugh, I got food poisoning from that very same salmon dinner at that very same Flying J a few years ago. Made me so sick that my load going just next door to Bettendorf was 2 days late. But hey, that’s still great to hear some places are getting back to normal. Can’t wait for that here in NC!

After dropping my mulch in Dyersville, instead od Dubuque, went over to Des Moines for large tractor tires to McCook NE and dropped this morning and slid over to Holdrege for a load to Redlands CA for Friday. Last time in Cali, Christmas. I get the picture, when everybody wants off for the holiday, I get to go to Cali. Which is why I work holidays. Killed two hours trying to pickup trailer. Locking jaws wouldnt close around kingpin. Dropped trailer on my drives twice. Carried it around the corner and guy looked at it, took a crowbar and popped the jaws opened and closed and sent me off. Hooked back up to the trailer and heard the familiar latching sound and knew I was good to go.

Dropped in Sumter and grabbed a preloaded trailer going to Broken Bow. I had home time scheduled, so they had me meet a driver in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and swap loads with him. I grabbed his load going to Four Oaks, dropped It this morning, and will be off for the next 11 days.
We had rented a condo on the beach near Pensacola months ago for my oldest granddaughters high school graduation. The ceremony is canceled, but we are going to head down there any way, see the kids and grandkids and try and enjoy the condo the best we can.

Anyone ever been to International Paper in Montgomery, Alabama? Don't think it's one of our regular customers. I picked up a load there and it took almost 4 hours. The best part is, the actual loading took 20 minutes. The rest of that time was spent waiting in line to get inside the gate. Place is taking in way more trucks than they can handle for some reason. But wait, there's more. When I got loaded, I couldn't leave. You have to scale before and after and there's only 1 scale. Since they let trucks come in the gate in waves, I had to wait for about 5-7 trucks to scale, check in, and pull off the scale before I was even allowed to get my paperwork and leave. Gotta love the people that don't drive trucks who are allowed to run things like this.
