My cruise control sometimes needs recalibration.

    Nice!

What year? 1000? (Calgary cops bought eight a couple years ago after demoing a couple 650s for a year). How do you like it?

Been looking at ADV bikes in general and the V-Strom in particular (lot of value), but haven't taken a V-Strom for a ride. Took a 2018 Multi Enduro for a test ride. Wow! Have a friend out your way who is a life-long BMW guy and has a few ADV bikes; I really should ride one.

    My current ride...

That is .17, DL1000. Had a 2012, DL1000, many in ergonomics, perf and handling. Bang for the buck and reliable. My favourite alternate is the Honda Africa Twin, better balanced maybe. The Jap bikes have the low cost of operation. BMW, nice but $$$$ from the buy right through parts and service.
Never rode the Duc, big grin factor I'm sure ;) Rubber down

Here's one that my dearly beloved had. Farkled up pretty nice.
Fun to ride too. Very maneuverable. Pic at Mexicali motel, heading south. :) NC750.JPG

They are real smooth, quiet and sip fuel. Only thing I don't like is their tire size selection from Honda. They should be a rim size taller, IMO. Anyhow, we put the Shinkos on it and it worked fine for all the rough she got into. Enjoy your ride!
