So, I got into a fender bender in Houston, with a company truck from a carrier in Loredo, TX. Trying to file a claim with the insurance card that was given to me, and they're telling me that truck isn't covered under that policy.
like..... Isn't that illegal? Or is there some kind of loophole that's being taken advantage of?

Yeah, illegal and people do it all the time. They will have 5 trucks insured, but in reality they run 30

Give it to your insurance company to file against the company. They are jerking you around because they think they can.

Your insurance has a team of really good lawyers for precisely this sort of situation, you know...

I've let my insurance people handle it, just so people can stop saying to let insurance handle it
