I need to add, about keto, that if someone is really excessively overweight, then by all means they should look at it as an option to speed up the weight loss process.
I just feel that when arriving at the healthy weight; some more variety of foods could be enjoyed. Also exercising, walking, biking...
I lost 15 lbs since beginning of April by gardening and biking when at home. When on the road I've been exercising intermittent fasting every other day.
Today, however, I started my day with coffee and a bun.
Ok. I just had to say it as I did want to negate keto as something necessarily bad but rather something that I see as a means to an end.

Agreed. For some people, keto or low carb can be a way of life. For others, it's simply a tool.

I'm one of the latter. I like carbs too much to give them up forever, but I can sacrifice for a few months and then work on portion control when I get to a healthier weight.

I'm already down 15 lbs for the last few days, but a large part of that is simply the body flushing out extra fluids, and the bowels getting rid of all the bulky fiber. As you shift your diet from carbs to proteins and fats, your body drops a lot of liquid, and proteins and fats generate lower masses of waste.

I have stabilized now after several days, and fluid out is matching fluid in.

My hunger pangs are nearly gone. Forgot to eat last night until almost bedtime. Ate a bit of beef jerkey before bed.

Bought several Caesar salads this morning, then got out to the truck and discovered I had only a single fork left.

Never trust the computer, for fuel mileage. Manual figures, meaning divide miles by gallons, each time you fuel. Keep track, Get overall averages. Tire treads, Lugger type, usually cost you fuel economy, especially when new.

Or use fuel guages, you'll get exact mpg for your last tank plus a history . Whatever your weight , wind direction, age of tires or whatever. It's easy, free and totally accurate.

I did. You must have been the fellow next to me at the pumps. When I parked my truck after fueling to eat lunch, I noticed low trailer air, found I had a sidewall failure on the RFI, and had to get the tire replaced.

Well, Crete trucks with 4 digit truck numbers are owner operators, and I drive a red truck, not a blue one.

Add to that the fact that I haul reefer trailers, and there's probably a 1 in 50 chance that it's me if you see a red Crete truck with a four digit number hauling a reefer trailer.
