Just a regular spring day in the Alberta oil patch. That's why I chuckle when people get terrified about a "preventable" when they tear off a mudflap. If the truck made it out with all its mudflaps and a straight tie-rod its a good day lol.
That AIN’T Gonna Buff Out!!!!

It happens...
You can see they were using a strap (lots of "spring") and the indentations in the grill match the rear of the pump truck they used to try and get it out (with a bit too much of a running start... or possibly forgot to release the brakes
the red line was to air it up to release the brakes)
Many frac hands are hired for their strength, not their smarts. -

They don't design those tow pins/points for a 20 foot running start........
Ever notice how professional wrecker outfits use even, steady pressure when pulling a wreck out of a ditch? If you have a 30,000 lb truck attempting to pull a stuck vehicle out with a 10 foot running start, the force transfered to the frame of both vehicles is astronomical! Even with a tow strap to lessen the jolt its still an insane amount of force to be absorbed. That's how frames get bent and trucks get ripped apart. -
