How often are you guys doing your PM's on your trucks? about how much are you paying when you get it done? Where are you getting your oil from? Most interested in Mobile 1 semi syntetic.

    Thanks in advance.

I use mobile full synthetic, 25000 - 30000 , $350 - 380 depending on the price of oil. I get mine done at the dealership. Just FYI for peterbuilt their prices differ from location to location. I couldn't find anywhere that could beat their price. The Petro across the street was $470.

    Lube - 10 - 15k do yourself
    Fuel filters 20k do yourself
Tire rotation and alignment done 1 - 2 times a year.
DEF filter, DPF filter, axel axe tranny fluid, coolant filter, air cartridge, air filter all done yearly. These do yourself and save some money. If you can take apart your DPF filter to take it in for baking you will save a crap tone of money but it's a pretty major job.

It's not quarts my friend it's gallons. My truck takes 12 gallons. I don't do the oil changes myself because it's more expensive than taking it to the dealership I go to. Definitely look around and get some quotes before you go trying to do it yourself. You will have a hard time getting rid of that much oil because most places will only take a gallon at a time. If you do the oil change yourself then look into the auto parts stores to get rid of the old oil. Some of them will take up to five gallons per visit. I don't know the specific oil that the dealer uses all they have told me is it is Chevron full synthetic. If I was going to do the oil change myself I would use shell full synthetic.

Every 12,000 miles, lube truck every 2 weeks
    I use conventional Rotella
I buy the oil at Walmart and the filters at my local truck parts store.
I would recommend, you using a Detroit fuel filter, with the 7 micron rating, instead of the standard 11 micron.

Weird how there’s a limit on how many you can dump. They get some money off that old oil. Atleast I know the neighborhood mechanic in my town does.
