They just saved the taxpayers of NY a bunch of money for a trial, appeals and decades of incarceration. Lead poisoning is so much cheaper

    good, screw him.

hopped up on drugs....most likely....maybe drunk

    attempting to run into cars.

    a danger under every circumstance

again, this too will be added into the "goodies bag" for the anti-trucking groups for future use against the industry.

i can "see a day" when mandatory weekly drug testing, alcohol testing, and maybe NO MORE hiring of anyone that absolutely does not meet the requirements of a truck driver as per the FMCSA, the first time, meaning,. "NO second chance companies" (which can be a GOOD thing)

and if this crap continues, boys and girls, the future for truck drivers will be bleak, as you would ALL have to comply to MORE harder requirements, testings, etc.

you really wanna have weekly OR daily drug testing?????

    Lol
Have you seen the NYS justice system lately?
If the guy had pulled over in the end they would have just issued him an appearance ticket and told him to show up to court after the coronavirus dies down.
Then after conviction they would just send him home because it would be endangering his Health to put him in prison.
This would be hilarious if it wasn’t true here in NY.

It’s a pretty fair distance from Leroy to I-390 and 20A. In all that time and distance they couldn’t get the truck stopped? Sounds a little Barney Fife to me.

I have been trying to find some new information, no luck. Guess if they found anything in his home, they are keeping hush-hush about it.
