    Commercial has EVERYTHING to do with it. I bet those signs say commercial on them somewhere.
    some of them say trucks. so define ''trucks''
    Motor homes are not commercial. What purpose would it serve to go in the scale?
    Any way I gotta go to the lakehead [superior] so bye bye for now.

    Buses are commercial and exempt as far as I know.

    Thanks for all the info. I’ll be traveling from Maryland to Pelham, Alabama just south of Birmingham. I’ll go down I81, I75 to I59. The way I see it is unless it has a specific weight posted I’ll pull in. Better safe than sorry. Man I can’t wait till I get back to delivering trucks. I know what to do then.

    Very much not true.
    I'm not finding a good place that has all 50 listed for weigh station and the referenced law, but these two websites do have so good information.

    If your coming into Florida on I 10
    All commercial trucks are REQUIRED to by pass the scale and———hold on———ALL four wheelers are REQUIRED to enter the scales!!

    If it has a DOT# on the side, I don't care if it's a Yugo, they can nab you. I wouldn't bypass Nebraska with one on the door.
