Talking about doing deletes and technical information on doing so is a no no. Telling us why yours was a horrible idea I think would be welcomed

Got about 575,000 on mine and it went out (hole worn in exhaust)

Was quoted that $9k at the dealer but my carrier went through OUR rep and was able to get one for $3k because we buy all of our trucks from them and they shipped it to where I was (saved $6k)

Another option is a reman unit.
    They're cheaper.
Dealer won't tell you. You have to bring it up.

Yeah, I remember when I was part of a big fleet and the company was able to replace one of my axle differentials even though the truck was out of warranty. They told me that because I was close to the 500k warranty and because Stevens Transport buys a lot of trucks from Freightliner, there were able to cover it. They probably saved me thousands.

Wow, so after days of troubleshooting they decided to just replace everything behind the turbo? Well I guess that will fix it.

Sometimes One-Box issues can be caused by problems up stream. Tight valves in the head can cause higher NOx output then what the box was designed to handle.
Could be as simple as a top end valve set.
    Or, yes, turbo problems too.

Only reason it was a horrible idea is now try to get rid of the truck. It actually made the truck much more driveable. Better fuel mileage. Etc etc. But mine is also a 2009. First go round for dpf. No def. horrible system. But the new ones are much much better. I’m dealing on a new truck with ew4 and tc4 warranty included. Only way to go now days in my opinion.

Designed to last one day after warranty expires. Lol, I had to say it. They should have mandated coverage. One of my catalytic converters went van on my car.. It was within the Government mandated warranty. 8 yrs. and 75k . Something like that. I had no idea. Saved Me $700

If it original epa10 one box st 800k it will be dead for sure. The replacement one box will be ghg14 one box. This one is built better and may last little more..

Now that you mention it, it would make sense that they upgraded my one box to GHG14. It’s good to know.
