Hello, I can’t get the pump to prime the lines. The hand primer it self works good. I put the fuel tank suction line in a bottle with diesel and all it does is blowing air in it instead of sucking it. Any ideas what is wrong. No leaks as far I can see smell or hear in the system.
I took the hand primer of finger in the hole and it gives good suction

Cleaned out the hand primer. What was leaking a little more than I thought.

There is an updated hand primer. The earlier version was prone to leakage.

    PE_T Thanks this.

If the hand primer uses o-rings, perhaps it just needs new ones. I’m reading that the bottom part of the hand primer that functions as a plunger can get damaged. If so, you’ll need a new hand primer.
