Thank goodness ... I’ve heard it all before my job sucks , equipment sucks , my life sucks who can I call to fix it ...

 

Oh and I can’t get a different job because ..... and ..... and ...... then my dog died and my old lady kicked me out then my probation officer .... then ... and ....

 

No it's not because it's not legal on a federal level.

So you willing conspired to break federal tax laws and you want sympathy because you were working with a criminal? Sorry, but cry me a river, you got what you deserved.

I read the whole story. Pretty cool story , I was a dump truck operator in Phoenix for a while and ya no A/C in Phoenix sounds pretty rough. Go to swift they will hire you and all there trucks have great air conditioning. Well now with the economy in the dumps it may be hard , but fill out some apps on line it’s super easy now days. What have you got to lose ???

 

You wanted to go 1099, you get what you ask for.
Btw, that company you work doesn't control or
Pick and choose anything.
They get the leftovers from everybody else.

 

Truck and trailer not up to par? Malfunctioning breaks on truck and trailer, no left turn signal, mirrors falling off... Walk. Don't drive it. It is your responsibility to make sure everything is in satisfactory operating condition whether your 1099 or W2..... Because you're operating it! Irresponsible. You could have killed someone. I've been at this for a long time, and I've said NO if things weren't right. In a sue happy world nowadays, never chance not checking your equipment. That includes your truck and trailer breaks.
