I'm watching a rock hit on my truck now that happened last December. I've managed to avoid getting an inspection since then so nobody has noticed yet. I keep meaning to get it fixed before it spreads, but I keep forgetting.
The last one I replaced in a personal vehicle was 30 years ago. I had a Canadian goose smash through the passenger side of my pickup, and it landed in the seat next to me. Had there been somebody in the seat, they would have died. -
Do need a new windshield. This one is sandblasted so bad. Had a few rock strikes, just not worth fixing them.
InTooDeep Thanks this. -

My driving partners, on the other hand, I cannot say. I know the last guy that I had in my truck did not have an issue following too close. But some of the other guys, yeah, for sure.
There were a couple of times I had trucks pass me then lane change right back in front close to my grill. Then I got off cruise to create some distance, then the new truck behind me got upset and passed me, then lane changed back in front of my very close, showing me he was mad. LoL.
It was a busy interstate. Yeah, I'm sorry that I am a road block, my truck can only do 65. There's nothing I can do about that. BUT those occurrences don't happen all that often. Just saying that because following distance is a thing for me. -

Even just walking into a Loves TS is too bright. I like it DARK, very dark.
I hate wearing contacts, but I wear them during the day so that I can wear my nice, dark Oakley wrap around sunglasses. -
I must have a target on me, rocks, an Owl, a bed liner from a passing pickup, that hit in front of the steering wheel, lucky no glass in my eyes, amazing how much clearer a new glass is.

Seems to be worse out in the PNW. They spread that lava rock on the road and the big chips get kicked up and bust mine all the time in winter months.
Didn't lose either side last winter but I'm counting about 11 chips in them from hard shots. (not affecting vision).
