    What’s the engine?

I’m reading that the air compressor gear for a DD15 engine will need 155 to 185 lb·ft. It also says that the threads are left-handed.

Sometimes you can find the info you are looking for in installation instructions online (PDF file) by using the manufacturer’s name and model number.

You're just looking for torque specs for normal hex head bolts? If so, CAT generally uses the generic torque spec based on bolt diameter and grade for that kind of stuff.

Now a nut on a drive gear or something like that, CAT would normally give spec and procedure for that.

Post your engine serial number prefix and somebody should be able to look up what you're looking for.

    PE_T Thanks this.
