Hanging out for a quick break in Longmont, CO just south of the weigh station in Fort Collins/Timnath on I-25. Little bit of a storm brewin' to the west with the winds whipping around at 40mph.

Supposed to have had a phone interview this morning. The fact that its now afternoon and no phone call yet has made it pretty clear they aren't very well organized. Might be a good thing to stay away lol.

The FP&L plant in Parrish off SR62 is the only place I've ever actually seen them on the banks, & in the water. We were there steady though for about 6 months, 5 days a week.
Of the handful of times I come up on one underwater, they'd get the heck out of your way. We are noisy, & bizarre looking to them. A 5 footer don't want no part of the alien with a hydraulic chainsaw, jackhammer, or broco exothermic torch.. LoL
The finger dykes were made out of what I was told is called soil cement.? We were doing repairs where it was crumbling & would see gators all in & out sunning themselves. Most were in the 5-6 foot range, so no big deal. Supposedly there's a 12 or 13 footer out there, but I've never seen it. Think it's a tale..
Top pic is driving on the dykes we were repairing.
Bottom is the outfall side. Went in just to set the stop logs so they could dewater & do some housekeeping in there. Stop logs were like an easy coffer dam system they had. Actually worked good, had it sealed up & pumped out in a half day..OLDSKOOLERnWV, PoleCrusher, cke and 7 others Thank this. -
Co-worker just rolled after six hours in the dock.
I haven’t felt any jolting yet — finished Inside Man with Denzel Washington... onto killing them softly with Brad Pitt....
Maybe at 9pm I’ll be outta here?
I’m coming back tomorrow at 2pmOLDSKOOLERnWV, PoleCrusher, cke and 7 others Thank this. -

Sitting outside Indy with a 8 am delivery appointment. At the Loves in knightstown, IN till morning. This 70 is a mess in both directions but east bound was closed for every bit of 20 miles . I sat at the border west bound for 40 min. Took an hour break earlier today because of some rain. Good thing too because there was all kinds of carnage on the road once I started rolling again.
Ran into another member of the forum last nite. We stood out side shooting bull till almost 1 in the morning. Heck of a nice fella @Big_D409
