Glad to be here finally. Anyways, i got pulled over in December for going over the speed limit in a cmv. This is the first time in my life getting any citation let alone a warning. Anyways the cop gave me a ticket, but not a roadside inspection. I checked my psp, mvr records tonight and ofcourse i found my citation on my mvr (ca driving record) but not on my psp.
What was strange i found two dates on my citation section
    citations

    12-09-2019 12-23-2019 01 Oreg.

Does this mean i have 2 citations?
I only have one violation, a non-oos on my psp for a small abrasion on my airline. So idk.

So the first date is the date the violation occurred the second date is the date of conviction.
In ca the ticket will stay on your move for 3 yrs from the convention date before it falls off.

    Snakebite Thanks this.

Alright thanks for letting me know, this happened in oregon. Im a bit confused on the pact states have on moving violations. What i heard was for example, i got pulled over in oregon, Oregon then has to report it to California. Then California would impose the same penalties to my licence as if i got the citation in California, is that how it works? Kind of?

I wanted to be wrong. Was kinda wanting to hear it was just to put citations on record not necessarily to impose the DL issuing state penalties as well.
Well thank you for clearing up those uncertainties for me. I was just not fast enough on the brake went from 60 to 55 needless to say the cop had a dirty trap set up, couldn't win.
    As you can tell..

You should have made a copy of ticket and the copy of money order you paid it just in case later you get stopped for not paying the tic. fine even if you did pay it off?

I got photo copies of everything, the fine was reduced from 400 or 500 ish to 165 but still had to pay the lawyer $$$. The service i got was to beat any citation and if i dont beat the ticket then i dont pay the lawyer. Well since they reduced the fine the law firm considered it a win so i had to pay for the lawyer fees and all of that nonsense.
    Oh well.

    baha Thanks this.
