Well they raise it to 50 after 90 days. They pay $150 for 34 hour reset. But only if I guess you follow the exact direction of dispatch? I don't understand why they charge $150 for fuel though if mpg drops below 6. Incentive bonuses they offer seem like they'd be difficult to make though.

Gravy work, chain it, secure any booms, baskets or legs and go. No tarping, step decks, flatbed, conestoga trailers. They haul driveable equipment for Ahern Rentals directly from the Xtreme and Snorkle lift factories in Henderson, Nevada and St. Joseph Mo and Vegas because Don Ahern owns them. Scissor lifts, generators, light towers, are some of the other things you might haul. I think you may drop off or pick up at job sites also, maybe relocate something from one rental store to the other, stuff like that. Nothing OSOW that I know of. Since it's a private fleet I doubt you would do much sitting if any. Talked to them last year and they had about 25 trucks but wanting to get bigger. The gentleman I talked to answered all of my questions and was very cordial and informative.

I never drove for AX Transportation but I use to drive locally for Sunstate Equipment hauling the same kind of stuff with a 53 ft step and a folding ramp. I just grabbed these pics off the internet to give you an idea of what I was talking about.

    Good luck!

Thats great and all. Camera in the truck watching you 24/7, the things they doc pay for, etc. Not really worth it.

Not saying one way or the other if it's a good or bad job, just trying to be helpful relaying some info of what it's about is all.

Oh I understand what you mean. The no tarp I will admit is what caught my eye the most. Their trucks look small, though too. Looks like they have a little bigger than coffin sleepers on some of them I have seen in pictures . They must have lost or moved St. Joseph facility though. Was told they manufacture in Fresno, Las Vegas, and Kansas City, KS. For whoever would want to work there guess just weigh the pro's (no tarp) with the cons and decide from there. I was all for it until I read that offer they sent. Seems micromanaged. $150 charge for fuel, per month? Guess if it drops below 6pmg during a 90 day period you pay $150 a month for three months.

I thought private fleet meant they haul only their own equipment?
